Why buy a Certified Antares Catamaran?

Antares catamarans are built for serious offshore sailing. Owners have crossed oceans, circumnavigated, and lived aboard full-time. Because of this track record, buying a pre-owned Antares gives you confidence in performance, comfort, and safety.

Factory Quality Assurance

Every Antares pre‑owned yacht goes through a detailed inspection and service process before listing. Our factory team reviews structure, electrical and plumbing systems, rig, and onboard equipment.

As a result, each vessel meets the same high standards we expect of a new build. In addition, we document inclusions and recent work so your survey aligns with expectations.

Pre-Purchase Boat Survey

We coordinate accredited surveyors who know blue‑water catamarans and schedule haul‑outs, rig checks, and engine diagnostics. The owner fixes agreed items before we publish the listing timeline.

Because of this, known issues are addressed up front and you can make decisions with confidence. Moreover, we can share the survey with qualified buyers on request.

Antares University is a focused two‑day program for new owners. You’ll learn how to operate key systems, plan maintenance, and handle your boat safely.

For example, we cover energy management, docking practice, sail handling, and passagemaking basics. That way, you start ownership confident and prepared. Click HERE for more details.

Antares Owner Network

Every new owner joins the Antares community—a trusted network for advice, spare‑parts support, and shared cruising knowledge.

Also, our team remains available for technical questions long after the sale, giving you peace of mind on the water.

Budgets vary, but many owners plan for insurance, moorage, and routine upkeep. A safe guide is 2–5% of the yacht’s value each year. For example, you can expect haul-outs every 18–24 months and rig or engine services based on hours. If you perform the service yourself and are not moored in marinas, the running costs are significantly lower.
