Open 360 tourMark and Laurie have enjoyed boating throughout their lives, although they came to the water from very different directions. Mark’s family is from the coast of North Carolina, where boating and life on the water have always been a natural part of family life. Laurie grew up in Pittsburgh, where opportunities for ocean sailing were, admittedly, a little harder to come by.
They began sailing in 2016 and quickly discovered that it was something their entire family could enjoy together. With four children who all share their love of sailing, time aboard Zephyr became a favorite way to get away, spend time together, and enjoy being on the water.
For Mark and Laurie, sailing has always been as much about the experience as the destination: the freedom of being on the water, exploring new places, and, most importantly, sharing those experiences with family. Zephyr has been at the center of many of those memories, equally at home on a relaxing day sail or a family weekend aboard.
Their years with Zephyr have strengthened their appreciation for sailing, cruising catamarans, and the special way a boat can bring family and friends together.
