Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Antares Catamarans collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, request information, contact us, inquire about a new or pre-owned boat, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us.

1. Who we are
Antares Catamarans designs, builds, markets, sells, and supports bluewater cruising catamarans. Our operations involve personnel, representatives, service providers, and business relationships in the United States, Argentina, and other locations where we support customers, prospects, owners, and vessels.
References to “Antares,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Antares Catamarans and the affiliated people or entities involved in operating this website, responding to inquiries, supporting sales activity, and supporting Antares owners.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the website, and information reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry or support an Antares-related relationship.
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, country, preferred contact method, and related details.
- Inquiry information: model interest, timing, budget or price-range context, cruising plans, availability questions, brochure requests, listing inquiries, and messages you submit.
- Owner or vessel-related information: hull, model, vessel name, service/support context, equipment questions, documentation requests, and ownership history where relevant.
- Newsletter and marketing information: email subscriptions, preferences, engagement with emails, and unsubscribe status.
- Website and device information: when analytics is enabled, pages viewed, referring sites, initial landing page, campaign parameters, browser, device type, approximate location, analytics identifiers, and similar technical data. Our hosting network supplies a country code at request time so the site can apply the regional consent rule. Our consent code reads that country code transiently to classify the request. Our application processes the request IP address transiently for security, spam prevention, and rate limiting. It does not add the request IP address or country code to lead or CRM records.
- Business communications: emails, calls, notes, meeting records, CRM records, and other correspondence related to sales, support, or owner communications.
3. How we use information
We use information for practical business purposes connected to building, selling, and supporting Antares catamarans.
- Respond to questions, brochure requests, pricing requests, listing inquiries, and contact forms.
- Provide model, availability, build-slot, delivery, and ownership information.
- Route inquiries to the appropriate Antares team member, representative, broker, service provider, or partner.
- Maintain CRM, sales, owner-support, and business records.
- Send requested newsletters, updates, educational material, and marketing communications.
- Operate, measure, improve, and secure the website.
- Evaluate demand, content performance, advertising effectiveness, and buyer interest.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, warranty, insurance, safety, dispute-resolution, and contractual obligations.
4. Cookies and analytics
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland—and whenever the request-time country is unavailable or invalid—analytics storage starts denied without an automatic prompt. The Privacy choices control remains available for an explicit choice. For visitors in other known countries, analytics is enabled automatically without showing the panel. An automatic acceptance is marked as inferred and does not apply if the visitor later appears in an explicit-consent region.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics storage starts denied and we do not show a repeated consent prompt. The Privacy choices control remains available if you want to make an explicit choice. We do not silently override the signal. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and personalization storage remain denied everywhere.
When analytics is enabled, we may store first-touch, latest-touch, and current-session campaign information—such as UTM parameters, Google click identifiers, the initial landing page, and a limited referrer—in browser storage so a later inquiry can be attributed to the campaign that brought you to Antares. Referrers are reduced to an external site origin or an internal path, and query strings are not retained as landing pages or referrers.
If analytics remains denied, analytics cookies are not set and campaign attribution is not stored. Google Consent Mode may still send limited cookieless measurement signals with analytics and advertising storage denied so aggregate site use can be estimated without an analytics identifier. We retain an explicit choice or an inferred non-regulated-region acceptance in browser storage for up to 365 days. You can reopen the control at any time using Privacy choices.
5. When we share information
We do not sell personal information as a standalone business. We may share information when reasonably necessary to operate Antares, respond to your request, support owners, or comply with law.
- Antares personnel and affiliated operations: including U.S.-based and Argentina-based team members involved in sales, build, service, support, administration, or marketing.
- Service providers: website hosting, CRM, email delivery, analytics, advertising, form processing, data storage, IT support, and security vendors.
- Representatives, brokers, yards, and partners: when needed to respond to a boat inquiry, coordinate a showing, discuss availability, support a vessel, or handle a relevant business request.
- Legal and compliance recipients: when required for legal process, compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or protection of rights.
- Business transfer recipients: if Antares is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
6. International transfers
Because Antares operates with business connections in the United States, Argentina, and other locations, information may be processed or accessed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from your local laws.
When we transfer or allow access to information internationally, we do so for legitimate business purposes such as responding to inquiries, building and supporting vessels, maintaining records, and operating the website.
7. Legal bases where required
Where privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a contract or pre-contractual request, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, protection of rights, and safety or fraud-prevention interests.
8. Your choices
- You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
- You may ask us to update, correct, delete, or provide access to personal information, subject to legal and business-record retention requirements.
- You may ask us not to use your information for direct marketing.
- You may accept, decline, or later change website analytics using the Privacy choices control, as well as control cookies through your browser or device settings.
To make a privacy request, contact us at info [at] antarescatamarans [dot] com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.
9. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining sales and owner-support records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and preserving business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the context in which it was collected.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, email, network, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults interested in Antares catamarans, cruising, boat ownership, or related business matters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including certain U.S. states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, opt-out of certain uses, or withdrawal of consent.
We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, active business relationships, warranty or support records, transaction records, safety obligations, or other legitimate grounds.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means the updated Policy applies to later interactions.
14. Contact
